My 2025 in one line (and yours?)

Hello Reader 👋
(And as always — if the name showing up above is not the one you want to be greet with, just reply and tell me. Details matter, especially when things feel fuzzy.)

December 31 always feels a little strange to me.

Not quite reflective.
Not quite ready for what’s next.
Just…

... standing in the doorway, looking back at a year that went faster than expected.

No matter how full or messy the year was, this day tends to bring the same quiet question:

What was this year really about?

Not the highlights.
Not the goals you hit or missed.
But the through-line you can only see once you stop moving.

After getting a few “Your Year in Review” emails from some of my favorite brands, I got curious.

What if I asked AI to reflect my year back to me — not as data, but as a story?

As I was reflecting on how to word it to get the best possible review, a peer recommended a brand-new tool by Barrington Paige called Prompt Genius GPT.

The timing couldn’t have been better!

His “Turn Goals Into a Prompt” conversation starter helped me shape a much clearer request, and my own 2025 Year in Review turned into a surprisingly grounding trip down (virtual) memory lane.

Small confession: I didn’t even try my original messy prompt first.

... because I didn’t want to muddy the second run or overthink the comparison.

I just wanted to see what was possible when the question itself was clearer.

If you’re curious, I’m sharing:

  • the prompt I would have used on my own
  • and the refined version I used with Prompt Genius GPT

👉 You can see both here

And if you’re someone who often has:
raw ideas
half-formed thoughts
drafts that feel close but not quite there

Prompt Genius GPT amazingly turns all that into clear, usable instructions — saving hours of trial-and-error while raising the quality of what you create.

Oh, and for fun...
Here’s what came out of my review:

My 2025 in one line:“From circling possibilities to choosing direction.”

If you feel like it, you’re welcome to use (and tweak) my 2025 AI Year in Review prompt for yourself.

And if you do, I’d love to hear your Year in One Line.
Just reply and share it with me.

Here to support you think, create, and build differently.
