Real life vs screen time?

Remember the Halloween mystery I left you with last week?

My son dressed up as Jandel, one of the top creators in Roblox (he’s the genius behind the Grow a Garden growth).

And even though the rain didn’t let up once that night, he didn’t care.

He pulled on his rain boots, grabbed his umbrella, and fixed his costume one more time before heading out — grinning ear to ear. By the time he came back? His pants were soaked… but his candy bucket was overflowing.

What stuck with me most wasn’t the costume.
It was how fully he brought one of his favorite virtual worlds into real life.

We spent days beforehand planning, crafting, laughing, and figuring out how to turn pixels into something he could actually wear. (Let’s just say my glue gun got a workout. 😅)

And somewhere in the middle of the candy, cardboard, and rainy sidewalk, I had this thought…

We spend so much time worrying about “too much screen time.”
But maybe the question isn’t how to separate online and offline…
Maybe it’s how to connect them in ways that actually matter.

That’s what this was:

A costume that turned into a project.
A project that turned into a memory.
A rainy night that turned into something he’ll never forget.

And it made me wonder…

If your kids or teens are into Roblox too — with their endless building, collecting, and world-hopping — would you want to see how we’ve been gently turning that same spark into little real-life creative moments?

Nothing complicated. Just fun, low-pressure ways that brige virtual play with real connection.

If that sounds like something you’d be curious to try, just hit reply and say:
“Tell me more!” 💬

🎮 XP tip:
A Creative Bridge

Next time your child (or your inner child) is deep in a game, pause and ask:

“What’s one part of this world you wish existed in real life?”

You might be surprised by what spills out — and even more surprised by what it sparks.

Sometimes creativity doesn’t need a clean slate. Just a bridge.

Here’s to rainy nights, pixel dreams, and the kind of memories that stick like glitter on construction paper!

Your little creative mischiefs,

Stéphanie and Philippe

P.S. Isn’t it funny how the messiest, rainiest nights are the ones we remember most?
You don’t always need perfect conditions — just a little spark and someone willing to chase it with you.
I'll share how I might be that person in my next email 😉

NOTE: I'm moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot "bad experiences" regarding my site, your members' area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you!
