I make printables and editable templates that refuse to sit quietly in a downloads folder. You can use them yourself… or rebrand and sell them as your own. Some spark creativity at home and create little screen-free moments. Others help creators turn simple ideas into products they can actually share with the world. And these days, I also help thoughtful creators spot the hidden friction between effort and results — because sometimes a small shift is all it takes to get things moving again!

Hello and Welcome to the Creative Playground, Reader! Pull up a chair, grab a coffee, and let's see what becomes possible when we revisit, remix, and reimagine what's already right in front of us. Because sometimes the next opportunity isn't something new. It's seeing what you already have differently. Looking for a previous issue? They are all available to read on my website. ~ 🎨 ~ “It helped me see what I was missing.”
“I finally knew what to do next.”
“I wish I’d done this sooner.”
Sounds like a happy customer, doesn’t it? Well… that customer was me. And the help came from my AI. 😆 Yesterday, we were digging into market research for my business. Looking at what creators struggle with, what they’ve already tried, and where my work could be genuinely useful. I was enjoying myself. There was plenty to question, connect, and explore. Then we arrived at a slightly less comfortable question: Could someone get part of the help I offer from their AI, too? Interesting turn of events for a conversation that was supposed to help my business. 😅 But here’s what caught my attention. The things I appreciated sounded suspiciously like things we promise our customers: Save time. Whether we sell a resource, a template, or a service, those are good things to offer. And as a customer, I don’t necessarily begin by comparing everything available. Which means my little “thank goodness this exists” moment was worth examining from the other side. What, exactly, was I glad I didn’t have to figure out alone? That’s where this gets interesting for the creator in me. Beyond “it saved me time,” what was I actually trying to do? Which leaves me with another question... I happily turn to my AI for all sorts of help. Yet there are still moments when I want a particular person involved. What makes me choose them? Next week in the Playground, I’m looking at my own choices: when I keep talking to my AI, and when I go looking for human help. Because “I want a person” and “I want that person” aren’t quite the same thing. 👀 P.S. AI: partner or competitor? I started the chat with one. Then wondered if I was also talking to the other. 👀 . === . NOTE: I'm moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot "bad experiences" regarding my site, your members' area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you! === . Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you! Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
